Edward Wesson, RI, was an English Watercolourist known for his simple yet elegant paintings of coasts and rivers. Born in 1910 in London he was largely self-taught, developing his own style of economical strokes. He became a full member of the Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, exhibited with the Royal Society of British Artists, and the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
